We have found many people are interested in the types of audio equipment we use. In response to this interest we have created a brief overview. The advent of digital audio technology has really helped today's mobile DJ's. While some DJ's spin vinyl, and others are moving their entire music collections to .mp3's and bringing computers to gigs, we believe the best sound quality and reliability come from CD's. So we carry hundreds of CD's with us to every event to insure excellent sound quality and an extremely wide range of musical choices for our clients. All of the equipment we use is "Pro Audio" gear. This is equipment that is designed to be rack mounted and can withstand the rigors of the road. Just to be safe, we also carry backups of all critical components. |

This is what we use: 1. Professional Dual CD Players - Denon. 2. Multi-input DJ Mixers - Rane, Behringer. 3. Wireless Microphones - AKG, Shure. 4. Powered Speakers - JBL, Mackie, Roland. 5. MiniDisc Players - Sony We also use computer based Digital Audio Workstations (DAW) running on the Windows and Macintosh platforms. These DAW allows us to do custom musical edits for our clients. Hardware includes audio cards from Echo Audio , M-Audio and AV SCSI hard drives from Seagate and IBM. The Windows machine has a gigabyte of ram while the Macintosh runs with 512 megabytes of ram. We also have an extensive MIDI production system with synthesizers, samplers, and drum machines from Emu, Korg, Roland, Yamaha, and Alesis.
